Swindon UFO Research Organisation
What do you believe?
About

Sufor is open to all regardless of what your belief system is.  If you believe in aliens and flying saucers or if you believe UFO's are simply everyday objects mistaken for something else then the group is for you.

Sufor was created late in 2007 to record, investigate, analyse and identify anomalies reported in Swindon and the surrounding areas.  The groups public launch on the 16th of June 2008 allowed Sufor to restructure itself into a Research and Investigation Programme and an Events and Lecture Programme.  These programmes are controlled via the Sufor Executive.

Sufor has the following mission aims.

  • Support witnesses of anomalous events and investigate their experiences without prejudice.
  • Work with other Ufology groups to share information and promote cross-group working.
  • To educate and inform the general public to change the general, somewhat negative, perception of Ufology.

What is a UFO?

A UFO is exactly what the three letter acronym suggests. Unidentified! 95% of all UFO reports that can be investigated are explainable. On average between 10% and 25% of sightings will not have sufficient data to conduct an investigation.

The following list of IFO's  (Identified Flying Objects)represents the most common causes of UFO's.

The question therefore becomes what explains the unexplained 5%?

If we could just answer this simple question......
